A sole edge iron is a traditional wooden finishing tool used to smooth and refine the edges of leather soles. Over time, regular wear—especially walking on concrete—can roughen the sole edges, giving otherwise well-maintained shoes a neglected appearance.
Crafted from solid walnut hardwood, the iron works by applying gentle pressure and frictional heat to compress the leather fibers. This process restores a smooth, sealed finish to the sole edge, bringing back the clean, polished look of a well-maintained pair of shoes.
Use the Crème Universelle, by Saphir, to help soften the leather and improve the sealing process.

Returnable/Exchangeable? Yes. The Shoe Snob Shop Accessories are eligible for exchange/return providing their return guidelines are met. You must notify us at info@theshoesnob.com within 7 days receipt of your goods if you intend to return/exchange. You have 28 days to return the goods. All returned products must be in their original condition and unused. Should you send a product that has been used, its return will be rejected and you will have to pay shipping to get it back. It must be returned in its original packaging to be eligible for a refund.
Return items damaged in transit due to poor return packaging may be returned to you at your expense or disposed of without refund.
