6" Horsehair Shine Brush

A proper shine is developed in the brushing stage. The 6" Horsehair Shine Brush is designed to buff cream and wax polishes evenly, helping build depth and clarity after application.

Made from 100% horsehair, the bristles are soft enough to glide across smooth leather without scratching, yet firm enough to generate the friction needed to develop a natural sheen. The 6-inch length offers comfortable handling and efficient coverage, making it ideal for both quick maintenance and more deliberate polishing sessions.

This brush is intended to be used after product application. For best results, apply cream polish or conditioner with a dedicated applicator brush, allow it to settle briefly, and then buff thoroughly with the shine brush to develop an even, natural finish.

Available in black and natural, each brush should be dedicated to a specific color family to prevent cross-contamination.

Usage Notes

• Use black brushes for black polish only.
• Use natural brushes for tan, brown, and lighter shades.
• Avoid using the same brush for both dark and light colors, as pigment transfer can darken lighter leather.
• At minimum, two brushes are recommended — one for black and one for brown tones. Ideally, black polish should always have its own dedicated brush.
