Collection: Cordouan

Cordovan leather is known for its density, durability, and distinctive character over time. Cut from a specific membrane found in the hindquarters of the horse, it behaves very differently from standard calfskin — wearing slowly, resisting creasing, and developing a unique surface with use.

When cared for properly, cordovan footwear can last for decades, often outliving multiple resoles. Its depth of color and ability to take on a rich, vibrant finish is difficult to match, giving cordovan shoes a presence that only improves with age.
