Saphir Médaille d’Or

This ultra-premium care range is named with nod to the prestigious Médaille d’Or which Parisian company Saphir – a purveyor of products ranging from regular shoe creams to wax polishes, impregnation sprays, dyes and repair pastes - was awarded in 1925 for the excellence of its wares.

Judging by the line’s ever expanding repertoire (its ‘Mirror Gloss’ wax polish was one fantastic recent edition), standards haven’t slipped one iota in the century subsequent to the award, and the range still contains only natural ingredients such as beeswax, carnauba wax, essence of turpentine, lanolin, mink oil, neatsfoot and vegetal materials.
